About François-Philippe Champagne
François-Philippe Champagne has been the Member of Parliament for Saint-Maurice-Champlain since October 19, 2015. Since his first election, François-Philippe has held the position of Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Finance, Minister for International Trade and Minister for Infrastructure and Communities. He currently holds the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs since November 20, 2019. Businessman, lawyer and specialist in international trade, François-Philippe Champagne has more than 20 years of experience in large international companies, particularly in the fields of energy, engineering and innovation .
He was Vice President and Senior Counsel for ABB Group, a leader in advanced technology with operations in more than 100 countries. François-Philippe then held the positions of director of strategic development, acting general counsel and member of the executive committee of AMEC Foster Wheeler, a world leader in the energy field. In 2009, he was named a young world leader by the World Economic Forum. Over the years, François-Philippe has also sat on several boards of directors, including those of the Incheon Bridge Corporation (South Korea) and C3E (Center of Excellence in Energy Efficiency), and was President of the Chamber Canadian-Swiss trade.
